The Scuba Diver (SD) / Open Water Diver (OWD) Course is a great “beginning” but is more challenging as you will become an autonomous diver. If you have already attended the Scuba Diver Course… you’ve already got a head start!
The international certification you will attain enables you to dive (without the requirement of being accompanied by a diving professional) with a dive buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet).
We meet at 08:30 AM at the diving center.
On the first morning, your instructor will introduce you to the basic concepts of diving, covering Theory Modules 1–6. You will also receive a complete overview of your diving equipment and how it works.
After a 1-hour break, we continue around 1:00 PM.
Under the guidance of your instructor, you will assemble your diving equipment and prepare for your first confined water dive in the shallow water of our outdoor pool or house bay.
Your very first breath underwater opens the door to a completely new world — an unforgettable experience.
Please note: Before every dive, a detailed briefing is conducted. Our professional instructors explain all skills and exercises step by step.
All training days end approximately around 5:00 PM.
We start again at 08:30 AM at the diving center.
During the morning session, you will complete Theory Modules 7–11.
After the theory, we take a 1-hour break before continuing around 1:00 PM with additional confined water trainingin our diving bay, where you will further develop your diving skills and confidence underwater.
Meeting again at 08:30 AM at the diving center.
Today you will go out by boat for your first two Open Water Dives.
Under the supervision of your instructor, you will explore the beautiful underwater world of the Adriatic Sea while practicing new skills in a real open water environment.
Between the two dives, we take a 1-hour surface break
(Lunch is not included).

Students enrolled in the Scuba Diver Course will complete their training and certification at this point.
Meeting time remains 08:30 AM at the diving center, followed by boat departure.

During Open Water Dives 3–6, you will visit additional dive sites, explore more of the underwater world, and further improve your diving skills.
You will practice new exercises designed to build confidence, safety awareness, and diving competence.
At the end of the final day, you will complete your final theory exam.
Upon successful completion of your course, you will receive your internationally recognized diving certification.

A medical certificate must be completed prior to the dive. All questions must be answered with NO. If this is not the case, then it is advisable to contact us. A visit to the general practitioner may then be necessary. The medical Statement can be found below.
